Educational Needs

Hand In Hand We Learn

WE NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO PAY FOR TEACHERS AND SUPPLIES.

Across the country, school attendance is higher for boys than it is for girls.

If all Haitian girls completed primary school and had a secondary education, the number of maternal deaths would be reduced, infant mortality would fall by 15%, 1.7 million children would escape the stunting of malnutrition, the number of early marriages would be reduced by 14%.  Aware of these truths, the Dezman Fleury Foundation has tried its best over the years to enroll girls at our primary and secondary schools. Today, we have more girls than boys enrolled at our elementary, middle and high schools. At the Dezman Fleury Foundation, we believe that a mind is a terrible thing to waste. We admit children from all walks of life regardless of their beliefs.
