Pastor Kelly Fleury - (Director) Kelly Fleury, a native of Haiti, was born in Flon, Leogane in 1965. His father Saintil Fleury and his mother Yvonne Benoit Fleury were small farmers. Her mom was from Jacmel, a city located in the Southeast of Haiti and his dad is from Fondra a village in the heart of the mountains of Leogane. Kelly attended public schools in Haiti before moving to the US in 1988. An American missionary was able to secure a permit from the American Embassy for him to travel to the US. Fleury met his future wife, Jeanine, at a Haitian church in West Palm Beach and married her two years later in 1991. Jeanine is a social worker and home visitor in the Glades. From their union, three children were born: Luther Kelly Fleury who is attending Meharry Medical school in Nashville, Tn., Jordany Ben Fleury who is now a student at Keiser University, and Jabez Joshua Fleury who is a tenth grader at Royal Palm high school. Kelly Fleury holds degrees in the field of Religious Education. He also attended Palm Beach Atlantic University, Haiti State University school of law. He is a licensed Haitian lawyer and is a member of the Petit Goave Jurisdiction’s bar. Kelly is now a candidate of a Masters of law at Washington University School of law in St Louis. He now serves as the political adviser of the Haitian Prime Minister, Dr. Jack Guy Lafontant and oversees the charity in Leogane. Kelly Fleury believes that life without Jesus is a life of emptiness and hopelessness.
Pastor Stuart West – (Stateside Counterpart) Stuart West serves as one of the Pastors at Central Waterside on Pensacola Beach, Florida. He also serves on the Board for the Dezman Fleury Foundation. Stuart has been in ministry for nearly 20 years now. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies from Montreat College, a Masters in Education and a Masters in Business Administration. He has been involved in several international NGO’s and mission teams and has a heart to meet the most basic needs of people everywhere. Since being teamed up with Central Waterside Church, he has committed to being in a long-term relationship with this orphanage and seeking opportunities to enrich the lives of these children. Stuart is married to Kristen West and has two daughters named Elah and Sailor.
